Amersfoort, The Netherlands – 12 November 2025 – BroadForward today announces a major expansion across the Middle East and Africa (MEA), marked by successful deployments of its mobile core network products with leading operator groups across multiple countries. These wins reinforce BroadForward’s leadership in signaling technology and serve as validation that its mission-critical solutions are increasingly the preferred option for modernizing legacy telecom infrastructure and enabling next-generation connectivity.

The expansion comes as the MEA region experiences significant digital transformation, driven by an accelerating shift to advanced mobile technologies. GSMA Intelligence reports that 5G is projected to account for 50% of all mobile subscribers in the region by 2030, underscoring the vital need for robust, modern core network infrastructure to support this demand.

In Africa, BroadForward has replaced legacy STP and DRA functionality in multiple networks, supporting operators to transition from aging systems to a fully supported, modern software architecture. In the Middle East, BroadForward has deployed its 5G SEPP solution across several operators, enabling secure and seamless interconnection for 5G roaming. These deployments highlight the strategic importance of continued development in STP and DRA as well as the introduction of SEPP for safeguarding signaling traffic and ensuring interoperability in the 5G era.
